LLC “Balakovskyie Mineralnyie Udobrenia” is as of the present day one of the largest enterprises in Russia producing the complex nitrogenous phosphoric fertilizer – ammophos. In addition, BMU produces sulphuric acid of various grades, oleum, clarified phosphoric acid, fodder monobasic calcium phosphate, sodium fluorosilicate. The enterprise products are much in demand both in the domestic and in the foreign markets.

The Balakovsky chemicals plant, which has more than 30-year background, enjoys the second heyday in the status of  LLC “Balakovskyie Mineralnyie Udobrenia”. It is proven by its labor successes. The enterprise is a member of the Saratov Regional “Multi-Millionaire Club” four years in succession, this club unites the plants having the profits exceeding a billion of rubles. LLC “Balakovskyie Mineralnyie Udobrenia” employs the advanced energy-saving technologies highly praised at the federal level. The scope of deliveries of mineral fertilizers and fodder phosphates to the domestic market is steadily growing which means that the enterprise assumes all the responsibility to stand guard over the food security of the country.

At present LLC “Balakovskyie Mineralnyie Udobrenia” operate at the 100% output capacity. The Production Stabilization and Development Program up to 2010 is worked out at the plant which makes provisions for further improvement of technologies, introduction of new equipment, increase of quality and volume of the output products.

While making part of the “PhosAgro” group, the enterprise follows the unified coordinated strategy not only in resolving the production and marketing issues but in inspiration of labor, raising its productivity, implementation of social programs.
